Blueridge BR-1060 Carter Stanley Memorial Acoustic Guitar
$1,750.00 $1,299.99
The BR-1060 Carter Stanley Memorial Blueridge Guitar represents the instrument as he played it up until 1964. By this time, his 1950s D-28 with the standard size pickguard had seen a lot of action as Carter's standard stage instrument. He had it customized with hexagonal abalone fretboard inlays and two mother-of-pearl dots on the bridge and used it to create some of his most legendary work. Additional Carter touches include the famous White Dove headstock inlay design crafted of fine abalone and pearl which is joined on this memorial-edition guitar with his signature inlaid in gold wire. Each guitar in this limited-edition run of instruments is individually signed and numbered.Like the best instruments, Blueridge guitars aren't overbuilt; they're crafted to be light and resonant. Meticulous attention to detail and quality craftsmanship is evident in the traditional, forward-position, hand-carved parabolic X-bracing which allows the solid Spruce top to ring loud and true. The slim mahogany neck joins the body with a traditional dovetail neck joint and has an adjustable truss rod. [Read more]

Blueridge BR-1060P Carter Stanley Memorial Acoustic Guitar
$1,850.00 $1,299.99
The Blueridge BR-1060P Carter Stanley Memorial Guitar is based on the instrument as he played it after 1964. By 1964 his trusty 1950s D-28 had seen a lot of action (and abuse!) as his standard stage instrument. His famous thumb-and-finger picking style had worn down the finish and wood on both sides of the upper body bout around the soundhole, so he had a custom pickguard installed that covered the damage and protected his guitar from more harm. The Blueridge BR-1060P also has the hexagonal abalone fretboard inlays and two mother-of-pearl dots on the bridge Carter added prior to 1964.
